Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Scientist to provide strategic biomarker leadership across cardiovascular, metabolic, infectious diseases and vaccines portfolios, supporting early to late clinical development.

You will develop integrated biomarker strategies aligned with therapeutic mechanisms, disease biology and clinical endpoints; translate scientific hypotheses into decision-enabling approaches; and interpret complex biomarker and clinical data.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in translational medicine, biomarker science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in translational/clinical biomarker strategy development in drug/vaccine development.
• Strong understanding of disease mechanisms, pharmacodynamics, and clinical endpoints.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent data analysis, scientific communication, and strategic planning skills.

Work setup
