Job summary

Bora Pharmaceuticals in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Principal Scientist to lead process and formulation development from early research through commercialization. The role emphasizes technology transfer, scale-up, and collaboration with clients.

You will mentor junior scientists, guide QA/CQA activities, and contribute to project quotations and on-site client visits. Experience with OSD manufacturing and regulatory inspections is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in pharma product development/manufacturing or master’s with 5+ years
• PhD with 3+ years in pharma development is acceptable
• Experience with oral solid dosage formulation and process development

Responsibilities

• Lead early-stage formulation development using QbD approaches
• Oversee technology transfer, scale-up, and regulatory batches
• Define CPPs and process controls across development stages
• Provide hands-on support for development equipment and suites
• Mentor junior scientists and communicate with clients
