Amgen is seeking a Principal Scientist in Oligonucleotides to lead development of sustainable manufacturing processes at either Thousand Oaks, CA or Cambridge, MA. You will drive capacity expansion, technology transfers, and innovation within the oligonucleotide program, mentoring staff and guiding cross-functional teams.

The role requires a PhD/MD/PharmD with relevant experience and a strong track record in industrializing oligonucleotide processes, with opportunities to influence regulatory

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/PharmD with 2+ years scientific experience.
• Master’s degree with 5+ years scientific experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years scientific experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to develop sustainable oligonucleotide manufacturing processes.
• Drive capacity expansion and technology transfers to GMP facilities.
• Innovate oligonucleotide process development and industrialization.
• Support regulatory filings with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor staff and provide technical leadership.
• Maintain cutting-edge knowledge in bioconjugate manufacturing.
