McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking an R&D Innovation Scientist, Product Development to lead the development of new ingredients and technologies for seasoning in the US and globally.

The Principal Scientist will oversee long-term strategy for the innovation program, manage a team of junior scientists and lab technicians, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate concepts into market-ready products.

Qualificações

• M.S. in Food Science, Food technology, Chemistry required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of postgraduate experience in product development and flavor research.
• Strong aptitude for complexity and innovative imagination; ability to operate in grey space.
• Experience leading projects and/or teams in R&D settings.
• Bi-Lingual and/or Global work experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain depth in food science, seasoning product development, flavor and sensory science.
• Write and execute mid to long term innovation programs and projects.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and business units.
• Involve in product and process development to support seasoning product development.
• Collaborate on technology transfer with regional R&D teams.
• Manage a group of junior scientists and lab technicians.
