Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Principal Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer to join the Land Quality & Remediation practice in Anchorage or Fairbanks. You will lead projects, mentor teams, and expand our Alaska operations while delivering technical excellence and client-focused solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10–15+ years in environmental consulting, Alaska regulatory knowledge, and a strong background in site investigations and remediation.

Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Strong technical background in environmental investigation and remediation of soil, groundwater, vapor, and sediment.
  • Experience with CERCLA, TSCA, RCRA and Alaska environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth, client development, and proposal activities.
  • Provide technical leadership on complex projects and review deliverables.
  • Mentor staff and lead multidisciplinary teams across Alaska and beyond.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
