Job summary

Drug Hunter is seeking a Principal Scientist to lead scientific projects from end to end, defining scope and requirements with minimal direction. This role represents the company’s scientific strengths to external audiences and guides the team’s technical direction.

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field, have extensive post-Ph.D. experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific area.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
• Typically 6+ years of post-Ph.D./postdoctoral experience, ideally in relevant industry settings.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and scientific requirements for projects from end to end.
• Lead projects and accountable for deliverables with minimal direction.
• Represent Drug Hunter’s scientific strengths to expert audiences externally.
• Mentor and develop junior scientists and contribute to team growth.
