Job summary

Drug Hunter is seeking a Principal Scientist in Washington, DC to serve as a scientific authority and leader across projects. You will define scope, requirements, and deliverables end to end, while elevating the capabilities of the team and representing the company externally.

You will partner with product development, engineering, and commercial teams to translate scientific insight into strategic decisions, drive high-impact research, and mentor scientists in a fast-paced, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific area.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Typically 6+ years of post-Ph.D./postdoctoral experience, ideally in relevant industry settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific projects end to end from scope to deliverables.
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, and commercial to shape plans and roadmaps.
• Mentor and develop junior scientists; raise the quality bar and oversee teams.
