Job summary

Dovetail Therapeutics in Seattle seeks a Principal Scientist / Associate Director to advance biologics formulation development from preclinical stages to IND-enabling activities and clinical manufacturing readiness. You will lead strategy, design studies, and oversee external CDMOs, ensuring robust data packages for regulatory milestones.

Qualifications

• Biologics formulation across discovery to IND-enabling and clinical manufacturing.
• Experience with sterile injectable drug product development and fill-finish.
• Ability to design, interpret studies, and provide strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Advance formulation development strategy from early development to clinical readiness.
• Oversee formulation and stability studies and data interpretation.
• Collaborate with CMC, analytical, process development, QA, regulatory teams.
• Provide technical oversight of external CDMOs and CROs.
• Prepare data packages for milestones, submissions, and management.
• Keep abreast of advances in biologics formulation and delivery technologies.
