Job summary

Dovetail Therapeutics seeks a Principal Scientist / Associate Director, CMC Formulation Development to advance biologics formulation from early development to IND-enabling activities at our Seattle site. You will lead preclinical screening, drug product development, stability strategy, and oversee external partners to drive clinical readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience for PhD, 12+ with Master’s, or 14+ with Bachelor’s.

Responsibilities

• Advance formulation development strategy from early development through clinical readiness and commercial formulation.
• Design, oversee, and interpret formulation and stability studies for candidate selection, process development, GMP manufacturing, and regulatory submissions.
• Manage external CDMOs/CROs, including protocol review, data analysis, and timeline management.
• Compile data packages for milestones, regulatory submissions, and management.
