Principal SAP Basis Architect

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be involved in business process consulting, defining problems, proposing solutions, and overseeing development, configuration, and deployment. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building. You will help define project scope and shape value-adding consulting solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients globally.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Location: Irving, TX; travel to project/client locations may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 11 years in SAP Basis Administration, including upgrades and migrations involving SAP NW ABAP/JAVA, HANA, SLT, Business Objects, SAP Data Services.
• 2+ years configuring and administering SAP cloud products (SAC, CI-DS, Datasphere, PaPM, IBP) and interfaces.
• 3+ years in technical/solution design and planning for SAP implementations.
• Mentoring team members and providing technical leadership across IT initiatives.
• Stakeholder collaboration for project requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Root cause analysis and resolution for complex system issues.
• System analysis, design activities, and advising on project costs and design changes.
• Guidance on system upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Providing courteous and efficient customer service.
• Meet deadlines with high-quality deliverables.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods, with communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face.
