Job summary

Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, is hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end robot software releases and coordinate across hardware, firmware, science, and manufacturing to deliver high-quality, timely updates.

You will build roadmaps, drive releases for large launches, and define quality metrics, while shaping multi-year plans for the software fleet and handling escalations across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the robot software release program end-to-end, including planning and deployment.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, science, and manufacturing to ensure timely, high-quality software releases.
• Build roadmaps, track dependencies, and report status for software orgs and major launches.
• Define release quality bars with QA/engineering and use telemetry and field data to decide when to ship.
• Set multi-year plans for Fauna's robot software fleet growth and long-term mechanisms.
• Identify recurrent problems across teams and drive process improvements.
• Present program status, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.
