Qualifications

• PhD in an accredited Engineering/Science/MIS or related field.
• Levels II–VII require 2–10 years of professional experience in engineering and research practices.
• Education may be substituted by relevant experience at a rate of two years per one year of education.

Responsibilities

• Leads R&D projects applying professional engineering or scientific practices.
• Develops concepts that lead to new technologies and methods.
• Advises faculty, postdocs, students, and staff on design and analysis.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs specialized equipment.
• Develops proposals, budgets, schedules and progress reports.
