Qualifications

PhD from an accredited institution in Engineering, Science, MIS, or related field.
Experience levels II–VII correspond to progressively senior engineering/research practices.

Responsibilities

Set and maintain the technical roadmap for AI, data, and software capabilities across Edge Lab programs.
Lead multidisciplinary R&D projects from framing to prototype, validation, deployment, and transition.
Design and review software architectures, data pipelines, APIs, model-serving patterns, and integration.
Establish engineering practices for source control, testing, CI/CD, and secure software development.
Mentor engineers, researchers, students, and staff; assign work and review technical quality.
