The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Government Affairs, a related engineering degree, and strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external bodies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven enterprise experience in Government Affairs.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience preparing and managing regulatory submissions at federal/state level.
• Strong written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D and Legal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage official submissions to agencies such as NHTSA and others.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and public comments.
• Act as external spokesperson for the regulatory affairs function.
• Coordinate technical meetings between R&D and external agencies as needed.
• Mentor colleagues and build regulatory SME networks.
