The role may require extended hours during storms or energy delivery emergencies and involves coordinating with multiple business units and customers on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Engineering or PE license.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering and subject-matter expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of regulations, standards, and engineering principles.
• Ability to analyze complex electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs consultation on highly complex technical areas requiring advanced engineering principles.
• Evaluates complex technical issues and recommends actions or programs for resolution.
• Leads large technical projects and teams to develop studies, proposals and designs.
• Participates in industry societies to stay informed on new technologies.
• Assists in department planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Acts as expert witness in regulatory or legal proceedings.
