Job summary

Raytheon’s Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department in Woburn, MA is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to advance verification, integration, data analysis, and customer briefings for X-Band radar programs.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, support scenario development, and lead cross-functional activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure mission-critical radar capabilities meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required before start; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirement verification tasks, scope planning, milestone creation, scheduling, and customer presentations.
• Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, and software development capabilities, working with internal and external customers.
• Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.
