Job summary

Monarch Quantum is seeking a Principal Integration and Test Engineer to help scale our quantum light engines. This hands-on role sits on the Reliability Engineering and Product team, partnering with leadership to implement robust engineering practices and build systems from the ground up.

You will lead integration of mechanical, electrical, and photonics into server rack form-factor systems, set up laser-based tests, and develop hardware intake and kitting processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in test engineering and hardware integration.
• Experience with laser systems is a plus.
• Machine shop experience is a plus.
• Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on product integration activities for Monarch Quantum’s quantum light engines.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, and photonics assemblies into server rack form-factor systems.
• Organize and track ordered materials; define hardware intake and kitting processes.
• Identify risks and unblock items to keep projects on schedule.
• Support reliability testing by setting up laser-based tests and building test infrastructure.
