Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Principal Engineer – Quality Control / Quality Assurance to lead technical and quality engineering efforts across operations, maintenance, construction, and industrial manufacturing sites. You will define QA/QC programs, ensure compliance with company, site, industry, and DOE requirements, and guide less experienced staff.

The role demands strong analysis, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while performing weekly field walks at active project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8–10 years in QA/QC or engineering in operations, maintenance, construction, or manufacturing.
Associate degree with 10–12 years of QA/QC/engineering experience in similar environments.
High school diploma with 16+ years of progressive QA/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to less senior professionals and possibly across departments.
Define the scope of quality engineering programs and develop cost-effective solutions for complex issues.
Oversee inspections, surveillances, assessments, monitoring, and reviews of QA/QC activities.
Ensure compliance with company, site, industry, and DOE requirements.
Communicate effectively with technical personnel, management, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and government representatives.
