Job summary

FreedomPay seeks a Principal Quality Engineer to design and lead automated testing efforts for its products. This full-time, salaried role focuses on evolving the test automation strategy, architecture, and tooling across platforms, SDKs, APIs, and applications handling payments at scale.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI-assisted testing, and ensure robust test coverage for security and compliance workflows while collaborating with multiple product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in MIS, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in software quality engineering or software development with strong test automation focus.
• 3+ years in senior/lead/principal level role responsible for automation strategy and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build scalable automated test frameworks and suites for FreedomPay products.
• Define and drive the test automation strategy, standards, and roadmap across engineering teams.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate testing and reduce time-to-market.
• Create test plans, test cases, and automation coverage reflecting risk across payment, security, and compliance workflows.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and coverage metrics.
• Mentor and coach quality engineers and developers on test design and automation best practices.
