RTX’s Energetics and Propulsion Department seeks a Principal Engineer – Propulsion for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will apply advanced propulsion technologies to missile and space-vehicle systems, coordinate with development and production programs, and lead subcontracts while interfacing with subcontractors and customers.

You will develop and present technical plans, manage projects, and travel as needed to support supplier activities. Active DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's in STEM with 8+ years of relevant propulsion experience.
• 8 years of propulsion experience, including solid propulsion systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Mansioni

• Apply or develop advanced propulsion technologies for missile and space vehicle integration.
• Collaborate across development and production programs with Raytheon product lines.
• Review manufacturing processes and resolve issues with subcontractors on solid rocket motor propulsion systems.
• Interact with program management for long-range planning and articulate technical capabilities.
• Manage propulsion development projects and subcontracts; review data and change requests; oversee suppliers.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to management and government.
• Interface with customers to identify user needs and support business development.
