Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Principal Project Manager for the Cape Canaveral Marine Systems unit. This on-site role drives project oversight, budgets, schedules, and risk management in a collaborative PM team environment.

The candidate will coordinate across engineering, planning, and supply chain, reviewing contractual requirements, milestones, and performance against plans. A CAM/EVM background and U.S. citizenship are required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant professional/military experience in government contracts.
• Experience managing or supporting projects with cost, schedule, milestones, and deliverables.
• Cross-functional experience with multiple disciplines (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, PM, Quality, Contracts).
• CAM and/or Earned Value Management responsibilities; ability to manage cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review project statuses, budgets, and schedules; prepare status reports.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Coordinate with functional orgs, vendors, and clients to meet requirements.
• Perform CAM and EVM roles; monitor risks and mitigation.
• Support contract proposals, modifications, and on-site integration meetings.
