Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS), Marine Systems seeks a Principal Project Manager onsite at the Sunnyvale facility. Lead the delivery of contractual requirements on cost and schedule while meeting technical goals and ensuring customer intimacy to support value creation strategies.

You will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals and interact with IPT leads to drive progress and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ or a master’s with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience applying business and financial management principles in program execution.
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional stakeholders.
• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between client Program management and planning, technical leads, and management.
• Review project budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Develop mechanisms to monitor progress and drive issue resolution.
• Support IPT reporting, ensure quality, compliant deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage government property and adherence to contract scope and change control.
