The Principal Project Manager will manage large-scale, highly complex, highly visible, and/or business critical projects from concept to completion, such as ERP/APS implementation or conversion projects. Responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and within scope. The project manager will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and consultants to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsible, innovative, and a team player.
Supervises: No direct reports.
Supports the Project Management Office Director in developing project managers through coaching and mentoring. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders at various levels.
Utilizes both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Demonstrates strong leadership, change management, and vendor management skills. Proactive in risk and issue management to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
PMI PMP certification or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field required. An advanced degree is a plus.
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility as needed. Occasional travel to client locations may be required.
