Davita Inc. is seeking a Principal Project Manager for their Pressure Water Reactor Owners Group (PWROG). This remote role involves leading technical committees, developing strategic plans, and enhancing customer relationships. As a Principal Project Manager, you will be an integral part of our Pressure Water Reactor Owners Group (PWROG) team. In this role, you will manage technical committee and activities of the PWR Owners Group per the Charter and Operations Manual.
You will report to the Director, PWR Owners Group. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
Manage technical committee and activities of the PWR Owners Group per the Charter and Operations Manual.
The expectation is that the Project Manager will be responsible leading one of our technical committees.
Develop and implement specific strategic plans for committee and PWROG level activities.
Facilitate technical committee meetings and potential international workshops.
Develop proposals, work to achieve the award of work and manage the projects from a program office perspective
Develop and manage relationships to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Meet financial and non-financial targets in support of Key Performance Indicators
5+ years of experience
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
Demonstrated successful offer development skills in effectively planning, estimating and executing significantly complex projects/programs, including complex contract negotiations with clients.
Ability to build consultative relationships with customer, operations, maintenance and engineering decision-makers to enhance Westinghouse's position as premier value-added supplier.
Demonstrated ability to oversee project activities and opportunity management, conveying feedback on customer satisfaction, needs and opportunities.
Power plant operations and/or maintenance experience (desirable).
Practical knowledge of regulatory and applicable national / international standards.
