LeoForce in Riverside, CA is seeking a Senior Principal Project Engineer/Manager to lead civil engineering projects, mentor staff, and manage complex multicenter initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, client relationships, and adept project oversight to deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions.

The candidate will hold a CA Professional Engineer license (or obtain within 6 months) and have extensive experience guiding design teams through regulatory and code-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and CA PE license.
• 8–12 years of civil engineering experience.
• 3+ years in management supervising staff.
• Proven project management skills and client leadership.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide oversight for the design, development, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, construction documents, and contracts.
• Oversee field coordination and construction support activities.
• Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, public agencies, and internal staff.
• Provide mentorship and direction to engineering and design staff.
• Perform conceptual/preliminary design studies considering zoning, land use, infrastructure, and regulatory factors.
• Review constructability and provide construction support services.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide oversight for the design, development, and delivery of civil engineering projects

• In-depth knowledge of California codes, standards, and procedures preferred
