Job summary
Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Principal Programmer to lead the software and database development for the Waste Data System (WDS) supporting the DOE WIPP program. This role is fully remote and covers the complete software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment, with occasional coordination of subcontractor activities.
You will work with distributed teams and travel to Carlsbad, NM for face-to-face technical meetings up to twice per year.

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Principal Programmer to support the Department of Energy's Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) program. In this fully remote role, you will serve as the lead software and database developer for the WIPP Waste Data System (WDS). You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing, while collaborating seamlessly with distributed technical teams and existing software development subcontractors.
