Job summary

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Principal Product Technology Lead for Application Software. This role holds accountable ownership of technical excellence and software performance across multiple platforms, from concept to end‑of‑life, guiding strategy, architectures, and scalable delivery models.

You will lead cross‑functional initiatives, ensure continuous delivery, and influence stakeholders across business units while maintaining regulatory and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions.
• Advanced engineering or computer science degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years progressive technical software development experience with cross‑platform applications.
• 5+ years of technical project/program leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own technical strategy and roadmaps for cross‑platform application software initiatives.
• Establish and govern continuous delivery frameworks for regular, predictable releases.
• Represent the organization as primary technical contact for application software lines.
• Lead multiple parallel technical initiatives with effective prioritization.
• Define innovative software solutions and scalable architectures across product platforms.
• Champion system architecture development and technical standards for interoperability.
• Guide quality and regulatory strategy across healthcare software applications.
• Drive cybersecurity excellence and risk mitigation across the portfolio.
• Provide technical mentorship and foster cross‑platform best practices.
• Drive strategic technology partnerships and cross‑unit collaboration.
• Lead verification and integration activities across complex ecosystems.
• Guide strategic product decisions from concept to end‑of‑life with deployment model considerations.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration to align technical vision across distributed teams.
