Salesforce is seeking a Principal Engineer, Product Security to serve as the dedicated security authority across multiple high-growth business units. This hands-on role involves reviewing architectures, modeling threats, reading code, and advising engineering leadership on risk before GA.

You will work across multi-tenant SaaS, GovCloud and private-cloud deployments, building scalable security programs and guiding release readiness for secure AI/LLM features.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years hands-on experience in Product Security, Application Security, or Security Architecture.
• Demonstrated experience across Application Security, Cloud Security, and Data Security.
• A track record of building and scaling a security program from the ground up, with led projects.
• Experience reviewing source code and complex data architectures as part of security assessments.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the end-to-end product security strategy for assigned business units, building scalable, repeatable review processes.
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat models for complex cloud environments, data platforms, and regulated deployments.
• Review code, system integrations, and AI/LLM gateways to identify vulnerabilities and design flaws.
• Advise engineering leadership on security risk, including delaying GA when critical requirements are unmet.
