Job description

Come join the QuickBooks Emerging Mid-Market Marketing Team as a Principal Product Marketing Manager. Intuit's Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is dedicated to delivering a portfolio of solutions that help businesses thrive at every stage of growth — from solopreneurs to mid-market — across accounting, payroll, time tracking, payments, bill pay, lending, and more.

The Emerging Mid-Market Marketing team is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Leader to define the future of QuickBooks Advanced, in service of one of Intuit's 3 Big Bets: Disrupt the Small Business Mid-Market. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping where Advanced goes next as a product. The ideal candidate is a bold strategic thinker who translates market, product, and customer insight into durable, multi-year product strategy, and who can partner with product, go-to-market, and executive stakeholders to commit to that vision.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product to define Advanced's multi-year strategy: Help set the strategic direction for where Advanced must go to win in mid-market, shaping the bets that drive long-term competitive position and growth
  • Sharpen who we win and why: Use market and customer insight to evolve our understanding of the ideal customer, keeping our targeting and value proposition ahead of an evolving market
  • Shape the roadmap at the strategic level: Partner with product leadership to prioritize around the bets that matter most for long-term competitive position
  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Act as the connective tissue between product, sales, and executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic direction and key decisions
  • Build the business case for the future state: Develop the insight and narrative that supports where Advanced should go next, and present that point of view to senior audiences
  • Enable the field to sell the vision: Partner with Sales to translate strategy into a compelling narrative, incorporating field feedback into our evolving direction

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or management consulting, with a demonstrated track record of owning multi-year strategy; mid-market SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to define and defend long-range strategic bets using market intelligence and customer insight, with the judgment to sequence them pragmatically
  • Experience working with product management teams
  • Demonstrated track record influencing stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with comfort presenting at executive business reviews
  • Demonstrated ownership, independent judgment, and comfort operating in ambiguity, with a track record of driving measurable outcomes at the strategy level
  • Fluent in a range of AI tools with demonstrable experience incorporating them into your workflow
