Job summary

Life360 is a category-leading mobile app and family safety platform with more than 102 million monthly active users and over 500 remote-first employees. We are seeking a leader to own identity security, drive AuthN/AuthZ strategy, and push passwordless adoption at scale across 180+ countries.

As part of the security team, you will translate threats into executive narratives, define security KPIs, and partner with growth, subscriptions, and care to unify the ecosystem while protecting families

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for AuthN and AuthZ.
• Design recovery that is safe and humane, balancing friction and trust.
• Stay ahead of attackers with layered defenses against account takeover and fraud.
• Move beyond passwords: lead passkey adoption and passwordless authentication.
• Build for 180+ countries, handling regional device, carrier, and regulatory realities.
• Set company-wide identity KPIs and make security visible through telemetry.
• Unify the ecosystem by partnering with growth, subscriptions, and customer care.
• Translate security threats into clear executive narratives.
• Earn trust with families by addressing teen accounts, consent, and privacy compliance.
