Job summary

Genomics England seeks a Principal Product Manager to lead a strategic area focused on trustworthy stewardship of genomic data and participant trust. You will shape the vision, coordinate discovery and delivery, and partner with researchers, clinicians, and policy experts to align products with regulatory and ethical requirements.

You'll set OKRs, craft coherent roadmaps, and mentor Product Managers while collaborating across squads to ensure impactful, responsible data use and strong governance

Qualifications

• Substantial product management experience at Principal level.
• Experience leading discovery and evidence-based decisions.
• Experience working with sensitive data, governance, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategically important product area across related products, services and squads.
• Set meaningful OKRs and translate them into roadmaps and backlogs.
• Lead early discovery, frame complex problems and gather requirements with evidence.
• Guide products across their full lifecycle from discovery to delivery and improvement.
• Synthesize user insight, data, and regulatory context to inform decisions.
