Talently, a growth-stage technology company, is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for a portfolio of infrastructure products spanning software, firmware and hardware. The role is onsite in San Jose, California, and starts as a senior individual contributor with potential to grow into broader leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management leading complex products.
• Experience in data-center infrastructure, firmware, or semiconductor products.
• Translate customer and market feedback into detailed product requirements and priorities.
• Work effectively with firmware, software, systems and hardware teams.
• Experience with technical customers, OEMs, cloud providers or enterprise stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for platform software, embedded software and firmware products.
• Translate customer needs, technical concepts and business objectives into clear product requirements and development priorities.
• Develop product requirements, acceptance criteria, release plans and supporting documentation.
• Partner closely with firmware, embedded software, hardware, systems, quality and commercial teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead technical product discussions with customers and partners to understand integration requirements, use cases and future needs.
• Prioritize features across multiple development programs and make informed decisions around scope, timing and resources.
• Coordinate software and firmware plans with related hardware, infrastructure and silicon dependencies.
• Support product launches, positioning, customer presentations and partner enablement.
• Help establish product management processes and contribute to the continued growth of the product organization.
