Principal Product Manager – Labor Market Intelligence
About the Role:
Cornerstone's Intelligence+ portfolio is building the workforce intelligence layer for the world's largest organizations — connecting skills, roles, people, and external labor market data into a single decision-making fabric. At the heart of this is a family of analytics and insight products that turn complex, multi-source data into trusted answers for enterprise leaders. We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to bring Labor Market Intelligence (LMI) into the heart of our workforce intelligence product — owning how labor market data and models become customer-facing analytics, visualization, and decision experiences across the Intelligence+ platform. You'll work in close partnership with the data science team that owns the underlying LMI models. This is a senior IC role for a PM who has built data analytics products — not just shipped software. You know what it takes to earn user trust in a number on a screen: data quality, methodology transparency, the right visualization for the right question, and AI/ML that is explainable rather than magical.
In this role you will
- Own how the Labor Market Intelligence offering is embedded into the workforce intelligence product — shaping the roadmap for LMI-powered experiences from data ingestion through customer-facing analytics.
- Partner with data science on ML models, taxonomy mapping, normalization, and inference — defining evaluation criteria and making explainability a product requirement, not an afterthought.
- Collaborate with product teams across the portfolio to bring labor market signal into their own surfaces and workflows.
- Design insight and visualization experiences that make complex workforce and market data legible and decision-ready.
- Define the analytics measurement framework for the product itself: adoption, insight quality, and demonstrable customer value.
- Work directly with enterprise customers to shape requirements, run pilots, and convert feedback into product direction.
- Drive GTM readiness with field enablement, packaging, and positioning — including consultative, services-led delivery models.
- Operate as an internal and external thought leader on data-driven decision making and AI-powered workforce intelligence.
You've got what it takes if you have
- 8+ years of product management experience with wide-ranging expertise, operating at Principal/Lead scope — you determine methods and approaches on new initiatives independently and guide the work of others.
- Demonstrated experience building data analytics and visualization products — BI, people analytics, market intelligence, or similar — where the data itself was the product.
- Genuine AI/ML product depth: you've shipped features built on models, worked with data scientists on training data, evaluation, and inference quality, and can reason about tradeoffs between deterministic and probabilistic approaches.
- Experience limited to managing a standard software development lifecycle is not sufficient for this role.
- Strong personal analytical fluency — you can pull the data yourself, sanity-check a methodology, and challenge a dashboard's framing.
- Experience with enterprise B2B customers, including executive-level stakeholder management Excellent written communication — PR/FAQs, customer narratives, and technical specs with equal fluency.
- Hands-on, daily use of AI tools — LLMs, AI coding assistants, and agentic workflows — to prototype, analyze data, and ship faster; you model AI-native ways of working and raise the bar for how the team builds.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward building: you'd rather put a working prototype in front of a customer than a slide.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LLM-based features and agentic product experiences.
- Prior experience in HCM, talent intelligence, or people analytics platforms.
- Exposure to compliance considerations for AI products (EU AI Act, data privacy).
Why This Role
You'll own a product with direct executive visibility, an enterprise customer base, and a central role in Cornerstone's AI strategy — shaping how enterprises understand and act on their workforce and the market around it.
