Job description

Principal Product Manager | HR Technology Platforms | Hyderabad Summary

Summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Principal Product Manager to grow our performance and talent management agent portfolio, leading the delivery of AI-native products and enterprise outcome agents that drive measurable customer value. This is a customer-facing AI-native product management role for a hands-on PM who can move quickly from customer discovery and requirements to working prototypes, using modern AI-native product development tools such as Lovable, Claude, Co-Pilot and similar platforms. The role requires close collaboration with customers, FDEs, engineering, and cross-functional teams to validate solutions early, iterate rapidly, and launch outcome agents that solve meaningful business problems. As our agent portfolio grows, individual agents increasingly work together to compound value for customers, and this role will help shape how new agents fit into that broader picture. The ideal candidate is highly execution-oriented, comfortable working in ambiguity, and able to translate customer needs into prototypes, product direction, and shipped capabilities with speed and rigor.

About the Team

You'll join a growing product team building AI-native agents for the performance and talent management domain, part of a broader portfolio of enterprise outcome agents at Cornerstone. Our agents help enterprise customers connect everyday work to business outcomes, from goal-setting to performance reviews to coaching and development. As the portfolio expands, we're increasingly focused on how individual agents can work together to create more value than any single agent alone. This role is an opportunity to help shape that next chapter, taking ownership of new agent areas as the team grows.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 6 to 12 months, you will:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of one or more new agent initiatives within the performance and talent domain, from customer discovery through working prototype.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, FDEs, and engineering partners, establishing a fast, repeatable feedback loop between discovery and prototype iteration.
  • Ship a working AI-native prototype that customers and internal stakeholders can review, test, and validate against real business problems.
  • Identify meaningful opportunities for your agent(s) to complement others in the portfolio, contributing to how the team thinks about multi-agent value.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted, execution-oriented voice on the team, someone who can take ambiguous customer problems and turn them into shipped product direction with minimal oversight.
In This Role

You Will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of new AI-native products and enterprise outcome agents within the performance and talent management domain, from customer discovery and requirements gathering through prototype creation, iteration, and launch.
  • Partner directly with customers to understand business problems, workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes in performance management, goal-setting, and talent development.
  • Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, use cases, and solution concepts that can quickly be tested and refined.
  • Identify opportunities for new agents to complement existing ones in the portfolio, contributing to a cohesive experience as agents are increasingly deployed together.
  • Build and evolve working prototypes using AI-native tools such as Lovable, Claude, Co-Pilot and similar rapid prototyping platforms, using prototypes as the new PRD motion so customers, FDEs, and engineering can review, test, and refine solutions directly.
  • Collaborate closely with FDEs and engineering to validate feasibility, refine user flows, and prepare solutions for launch, working in tight feedback loops to confirm value and shape deliverable product capabilities.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across product, engineering, design, data science, architecture, and go-to-market teams to bring validated concepts into production.
  • Turn customer specific outcome agents into re-sellable out-of-the-box agents.
  • Ensure launched outcome agents are practical, scalable, and easy for enterprise customers to adopt.
  • Use customer feedback, adoption signals, and business-impact metrics to continuously improve product execution and outcomes.
You Have Got What it Takes
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, including significant experience delivering enterprise software, SaaS, AI, or platform products.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-native prototyping and product development tools such as Lovable, Claude, Co-Pilot or similar tools to accelerate product definition and validation.
  • Strong track record in customer-facing product delivery for enterprise SaaS or AI-native products.
  • Demonstrated ability to go from customer discovery and requirements to working prototypes and launched solutions.
  • Experience collaborating closely with customers and technical delivery partners such as FDEs to iterate rapidly and launch customer-ready solutions.
  • Strong product execution skills, including prioritization, prototype validation, release planning, cross-functional coordination, and delivery tracking.
  • Experience translating ambiguous customer problems into structured product requirements and testable product experiences.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, matrixed environments and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the performance management or broader HR technology space, for example goal-setting platforms, performance review tools, or coaching and enablement platforms.
  • Experience contributing to a multi-product or multi-agent portfolio, with an understanding of how individual products can be designed to work well together.
  • Experience delivering AI agents, copilots, workflow agents, or decision-support products.
  • Demonstrated success using rapid prototyping to accelerate product-market fit and customer adoption.
  • Experience working in close partnership with customer success, services, sales, and solution delivery teams.
