The Anywhere UX team is a quickly growing and evolving team positioned as a thought leader in the company. We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal UX Designer to join our team and revolutionize the way people interact with real estate technology. As a Principal Designer at Anywhere Real Estate, you will be at the forefront of designing innovative software that helps streamline processes for our agents and brokers. Your visionary approach and leadership will drive the design team to new heights, creating applications that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and profitable.

Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership: Spearhead the development of design concepts aligned with Anywhere Real Estate's vision and market trends. Provide expert guidance on all design decisions, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation. Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to foster creativity.
2. Design Excellence: Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with partners to understand their needs and translate them into compelling design solutions. Present proposals and updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
4. Mentorship: Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback. Promote continuous learning and staying updated with design trends.
5. UX Research: Collaborate with UX research teams to integrate user insights into design decisions. Advocate for user-centered design principles.
6. Design Operations (DesignOps): Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, select and manage design tools, and establish metrics to measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) designing user experiences for web and mobile, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, InVision).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, research, and usability testing.
• Knowledge of current UX trends and emerging technologies.
• Strong advocacy for accessibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
