Job summary

Northbeam is seeking a Principal Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience across its platform, including data dashboards and AI-driven features. You will shape navigation, UX paradigms, and complex interfaces, collaborating with customers, product, data science, and engineering to ship high-impact designs.

This hands-on IC reports to the Chief Product and Design Officer and works from our downtown San Francisco office 2–3 days per week, in a fast-growing, collaborative environment with

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product design experience, with deep B2B SaaS and enterprise work.
• Equal strength in interaction design and visual design.
• Real experience with complex, data-dense interfaces.
• Experience leading from vision to design execution.
• Expert command of Figma and adjacent design tools.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including giving and receiving critique.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for Northbeam's platform, including AI-driven features and data dashboards.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering to ship designs that scale and drive impact.
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Mentor other designers and partner with branding and marketing teams.
