Strong research, software development, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential. Join us to help shape the future of AI automation.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Research, implement, and evaluate deep-learning-based methods for prediction and planning in NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicle products.
  2. Design, run, and analyze experiments to evaluate solution efficiency on real-world data.
  3. Partner with system software engineering teams to deploy industrial-strength ML models.
  4. Collaborate with multi-functional teams through effective communication.
What we need to see:
  • BS/MS/PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied math, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (preferably 15+ years) building ML systems for autonomous vehicles or similar robotics applications.
  • Deep understanding of large language models (LLMs) and transformers.
  • Hands-on experience deploying large-scale production ML systems.
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of innovation in ML-based planning solutions.
  • Experience with deep neural network training, inference, and optimization using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT, etc.
  • Solid understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning and deep learning.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience as an ML planning lead.
  • Publication record in ML for planning, vision, or related fields.
  • Experience building and deploying vision-language action or chain of thought models.

At NVIDIA, we are powering a revolution in AI with deep learning techniques on NVIDIA GPUs, enabling breakthroughs across various domains including image classification, speech recognition, natural language processing, and autonomous vehicles. We are at the forefront of this AI era, developing hardware and software to lead the way. Join us and be part of the future!
