What We Are Looking For: An engineer to join our Advanced Development Team in Carmel, Indiana, focusing on next-generation AC drive systems, power converters, and electric machines. You will provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and testing power and motor control electronics and electric machines.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, program, and implement AC drive systems, power converters, and electric machines, demonstrating expertise across various power system applications.
• Manage projects involving motor drive development, electrical design, and regulator tuning.
• Apply knowledge of motor architectures, control algorithms, and power converter concepts.
• Design and package power electronics.
• Create detailed models and simulations using Matlab and Simulink.
• Mentor other engineers and lead project phases.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to define product requirements.
• Lead complex engineering projects, demonstrating technical leadership.
• Uphold FLANDERS’ core values, promote a positive company image, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work environment.

What You Need:

Education: Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.

Experience: 15+ years in power electronics design, motor control, firmware development, or control electronics.

Skills: Analytical thinking, strong communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, initiative, judgment, decision-making, and ability to travel.
