Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Principal-level power delivery architect to own architecture, design, and validation of power delivery for AI and compute server platforms. Responsibilities include 48V/54V input, intermediate bus, VRM topologies, and high-current PDN regulation for GPUs, CPUs, and memory.

The role requires 10+ years of power delivery experience and strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, and test disciplines.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of power delivery / VRM design experience for servers or high-power electronics.
• Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of DC/DC conversion, multiphase VR design, 48V/54V architectures, PDN design and analysis.
• Systems knowledge: Understanding of power sequencing, telemetry, protection, and firmware interactions.
• Communication: Ability to lead trade-offs and present decisions to technical leaders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end power delivery architecture for AI/GPU platforms.
• Design and specify multiphase voltage regulators and power stages.
• Optimize efficiency, thermal footprint, and power density with telemetry and protection strategies.
• Lead power bring-up and validation across EVT/DVT/PVT.
• Guide cross-functional teams on power-related trade-offs and design methodology.
