Job summary

Toast is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own Toast Ticketing end to end, leading from open beta to general availability and collaborating with GTM, sales, and engineering to scale the product for restaurants and venues.

You will spend time with customers, set the backlog, and guide pricing and packaging decisions. This senior IC role reports to the Tables product lead and requires strong communication and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, including owning a product or major product area and its results.
• Experience taking a zero-to-one product to market inside a larger company.
• Has owned revenue product end to end: pricing conversations, GTM partnership, and executive communication.
• Strong data-driven decision making and ability to pull and interpret numbers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using AI tools in product development.

Responsibilities

• Own the ticketing roadmap and strategy from open beta to GA.
• Run the weekly build loop with engineering: framing problems, deciding what ships each week and why, and measuring results.
• Learn where early customers get value and where they get stuck, and use that to decide what to double down on and what to drop.
• Carry commercialization with GTM and leadership: pricing and packaging recommendations, rep enablement, and the funnel from enabled to first event to repeat seller.
• Keep live customers healthy: enablement, tax configuration edge cases, and payment issues, owning escalations directly until a support motion exists.
• Own the numbers the business runs on: restaurants selling tickets, ticket sales, and fee revenue. Set the goals, measure them, and let the data change course.
