Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is hiring a Principal Product Manager for Search, Security, and Observability.

You will lead across OpenSearch, CloudWatch, and Security Services, shaping product strategy, architecture, and go-to-market plans. You will partner with Engineering and Product leaders to drive technical discovery, translate customer needs into actionable requirements, and own major AWS service definitions and roadmaps while influencing pricing and packaging

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of product management, engineering, or technical leadership experience.
5+ years in cloud services, distributed systems, or enterprise software.
Deep knowledge of core systems in search, observability, or security technology domains.
Proven experience in enterprise-level technology solution delivery.

Responsibilities

Shape 3-5 year strategic vision and technical roadmaps for OpenSearch, CloudWatch, and Security Services.
Review complex service design decisions across distributed systems and security architectures.
Drive technical innovation in search technologies, observability platforms, and security services.
Identify service dependencies and efficiency improvements across the AWS ecosystem.
Own business and product definition for major AWS service products.
Lead technical discussions with enterprise customers and participate in customer advisory boards.
Translate customer pain points into technical product requirements and solutions.
