The Search, Security and Observability team at AWS is a critical organization focused on delivering essential cloud security and operations capabilities to AWS customers. As the Principal Product Manager, Search, Security, and Observability, you will be a key member of the leadership team, helping shape and deliver the next era of product strategies and vision across multiple businesses. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical product leader embedded across the full breadth of our portfolio, driving technical deep dives into architecture, roadmap, and customer problems across Search, Security, and Observability. You will partner closely with Engineering and Product leaders across all our charters, helping the teams move faster, innovate bigger, and drive greater impact for our customers. You will own technical discovery and problem decomposition, going deep on the hardest customer and product challenges, synthesizing insights, and translating them into actionable strategies. You will drive success through feature definition, roadmap prioritization, positioning, naming, GTM, usage growth, and financial metrics. Operationally, you will solve customer problems, improve delivery speed, and drive usage by working backwards from ambiguous customer needs, translating them into disruptive, successful products that delight customers. This role carries broad exposure and increasing responsibility over time. You will interact with customers (including senior executives) on a daily basis, coordinate across many internal and external teams, and be visible at the highest levels of the company. You'll work with our customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted business requirements documents. The successful candidate must have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience influencing both internally and externally across technical and non-technical stakeholders. We are looking for a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects that will be industry defining. This position requires a strong technical background. The candidate should be comfortable going deep on distributed systems, security architectures, and cloud-scale operations, and be customer-focused with a passion for security and cloud technology.
