Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Project Manager, Principal to own end-to-end delivery of complex pharmacy benefits, claims and network operations initiatives. The role requires coordinating multiple vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders while translating business needs into technical requirements.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience in program management, strong governance skills, risk management, and a deep understanding of operations within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs with operations, technology, vendors and stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives with risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex operational and IT initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate work across vendors, IT teams, agile teams, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and drive delivery of IT-related solutions.
• Proactively manage dependencies, risks, timelines, and communications in fast-paced environments.
