Job summary

Life360 seeks a seasoned product leader to own strategy for scaling a fast-growing consumer platform used by families. You will define metrics, drive alignment across engineering and leadership, and act as a force multiplier for teams building a fast, reliable, observable platform.

You’ll partner with the VP of Product and senior engineering leadership to establish practices and systems that keep our members’ experiences high quality as we scale to hundreds of millions of users.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience with cross-functional scope.
• Proven track record on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing problems at a fast-growing consumer tech company.
• Fluency in performance and reliability engineering; observability practices.
• Experience with digital mapping and location services is a major plus.
• Strong empathy for both internal builders and end users.
• Ability to align large, matrixed engineering organizations around a shared vision.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Identify platform growth risks and build fault tolerance and capacity buffers.
• Embed performance and reliability as core product requirements.
• Advance observability so every team can monitor system health.
• Define company-wide platform KPIs for fast, high-quality delivery.
• Hunt systemic risks and mitigate constraints before they impact users.
• Translate platform health data into actionable decisions and bets.
