Job summary

UJET seeks a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across our cloud platform, driving architectural excellence and long-term health of our codebase.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Leadership to set direction, establish best practices, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, secure, and observable systems in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and influence the architectural direction of the platform across frontend, backend, integrations, and supporting services.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and resilient solutions that align with business objectives and technical strategy.
• Lead architectural reviews and promote engineering standards and best practices.
• Review code and system designs to ensure adherence to engineering standards and architectural principles.
• Mentor Senior Engineers and other technical leaders to raise the organization's technical capabilities.
