Seeking a Senior Principal Platform Architect to ensure the successful delivery of a Modernized Private Cloud Infrastructure for a premier program at our Aurora, CO campus.
As a Senior Principal Platform Architect, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing, integrating, and deploying modernized platform infrastructure for a system currently tightly coupled to its underlying infrastructure.
Your core responsibilities include architecting a platform that is consistent, scalable, and efficient, aiming to reduce overall program deployment times. You will work with development and operational environments comprising servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, providing the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing of a critical, strategic national asset.
Key activities involve collaborating cross-functionally to build and refine solutions that align with technical standards, timelines, and budgets; investigating and presenting technology solutions to improve performance; designing and implementing automation and orchestration solutions; identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement; incorporating cyber solutions; and coordinating requirements and priorities with technical, program, and IPT management. Ensuring infrastructure implementations meet contractual scope and compliance standards, leveraging Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), and adopting industry best practices are also essential.
