Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Pharmacist, Principal to lead the Cost of Health Care (COHC) & Specialty Drug Management Pharmacy team. You will oversee specialty networks, limited distribution access, specialty-at-retail initiatives, and partnerships to improve affordability, access, quality, and member experience.

The role emphasizes leadership development, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD from a U.S. accredited school.
• Active CA RPh license required.
• Minimum 4 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
• Experience in specialty/pharmacy benefit design and biosimilar strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee specialty pharmacy networks and LDD programs.
• Lead and implement cost of health care initiatives across pharmacy/medical benefit.
• Develop partnerships for direct drug distribution and specialty programs.
