Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Pharmacist, Principal to oversee the Cost of Health Care (COHC) & Specialty Drug Management Pharmacy programs. You will lead specialty pharmacy networks, limited distribution drug access, specialty-at-retail initiatives, and direct drug distribution partnerships to improve affordability, access, quality, and member experience.

You will report to the Director, Pharmacy COHC & Specialty Drug Management and help develop leaders, drive strategy, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited U.S. school.
• Requires active California RPh license.
• Requires 4 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
• Experience in specialty and managed care pharmacy, PBM programs, biosimilar strategies.
• Strong business acumen with pharmacy strategy development experience.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee specialty pharmacy networks and access programs.
• Lead limited distribution drug access and biosimilar strategies.
• Drive specialty-at-retail initiatives and direct distribution partnerships.
• Develop and implement cost-of-health-care initiatives.
