Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Principal PCIe ASIC Application Engineer to lead validation of next-generation SSD controller ASICs from development through production. You will drive validation strategy, perform post-silicon debug, and mentor engineers across global teams.

Key focus areas include functional, performance, power and system-level testing for PCIe, NVMe and memory interfaces, with automation frameworks and high-quality test infrastructure to enable rapid, reliable product delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of ASIC/SoC validation or SSD controller experience.
• Strong knowledge of PCIe, NVMe, DDR, NAND/ONFI.
• Hands-on FPGA validation and post-silicon bring-up.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Shell, or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASIC validation activities from pre-silicon to production.
• Develop validation plans for functional, performance, power, reliability.
• Perform post-silicon bring-up, debug, and root-cause analysis.
• Build automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership across global teams.
