Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Developer for Oncology Data & AI Systems in the United States. You will lead the design and governance of data pipelines, integrate clinical, preclinical, 'omics', and real-world data, and collaborate across teams to enable advanced analytics and GenAI capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare data engineering, proficiency in Python/R/SQL, and experience with AWS and knowledge graphs. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, life sciences, or related field.
5+ years in data engineering with healthcare experience.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and AWS.
Experience with relational, NoSQL, and knowledge graph data technologies.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to travel <15%.

Responsibilities

lead end-to-end design, build, and management of scalable, high-quality data pipelines and products
integrate diverse R&D data sources including clinical, preclinical, 'omics', and real-world data
collaborate across teams to develop an AI ecosystem that supports analytics, ML, and GenAI
